1344(Cardiff) Squadron Air Cadets

Yet again some of our cadets have found themselves at Bisley competing against the Army Cadets and Sea Cadets in the Cadet Inter Service Skill At Arms full bore shooting competition at the end of October 2009.  Three cadets who did particularly well are Flight Sergeant Kathryn Atkinson who was awarded top ATC marksman, cadet Philip Campigli who came 9th, and Corporal Faisal Yousif who came 19th.  The ATC did not put on the 4 day pre-competition practice this year, and so we did not manage to achieve our best results. Overall we came 15th and 23rd out of 47 teams.  Congratulations to Cadet Warrant Officer Tom Tatchell who won the adult shooting competition.  

In the final competition where the cadets run 50 yards, lie down, and shoot at dinner plates we came 4th, the highest we have ever achieved. So overall a very mixed result.  For photographs click here.
