Even after the Squadron was disbanded, A.W. Baker kept its memory alive by forming "The Fours Club" - (1+3)+4+4 = 4 4 4, therefore "The Fours Club"
This Club, for Ex-Cadets of the Squadron held various events and dances at various venues around the city. They held a Grand V.E. Day Dance and Re-union at the Drill Hall, , Pengam on May 8th 1948, an "Operations Dance" at Royal Air Force Llandaff on October 2nd 1948, and held a Re-union Supper at the Old Arcade Pub in , on February 22nd 1949.
The Officers meanwhile pursued a more sedate course. From 1946 onwards A.W. Baker organised an Annual Re-union Dinner. This usually took the form of Dinner at the Park Hotel, followed by an evening at the theatre, usually The New Theatre.
One of the bills that survive these Re-union Dinners (paid and receipted of course) for a typical dinner at the Park Hotel, dated 1957 shows that nine Officers had a four course dinner with all the trimmings for a total of £9 - 95p the lot.
These Annual Re-unions seemed to come to an end about 1959.
The Fours Club apparently ceased to exist when the Squadron re-formed in 1950.
